1. What is Form CAA 6?

This form is filed pursuant to section 233 and rule 17 of The Companies (Compromises, Arrangements and Amalgamations) Rules, 2016. As per the rule, where the Tribunal has sanctioned the compromise or arrangement, such order shall be made in form CAA 6 and shall include such directions in regard to any matter or such modifications in the compromise or arrangement as the Tribunal may think fit to make for the proper working of the compromise or arrangement. The order shall direct that a certified copy of the same shall be filed with the Registrar of Companies within thirty days from the date of the receipt of copy of the order, or such other time as may be fixed by the Tribunal. 

2. Why is it important? 

a. It is a statutory requirement.

b. It prescribed the uniform standard of passing an order by th tribunal.
