It is intimated that an online service has been launched on Antyodaya SARAL Portal i.e.

1.e. saralharyana.gov.in for providing Ex-Gratia assistance of Rs. 50,000/- per deceased, to next of kin of the deceased by COVID-19 in the State. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Covid-19 cases, which have not been resolved and have died either in hospital settings or at home, and where a medical certificate of cause of death has been issued to the registering authority will be treated as Covid-19 death.

A Covid-19 patient, while admitted to a hospital/in-patient facility, and who continued as the same admission beyond 30 days and died subsequently will also be treated as Covid death.

Deaths occurring within 30 days from the date of testing or from the date of being clinically determined as a Covid-19 case will be treated as deaths due to Covid, even if the death takes place outside the hospital/in-patient facility.
