The West Bengal government has formed a committee for disbursal of Rs. 50 thousand to the relatives of those who lost their lives due to Covid 19. 

Online Application procedure for COVID-19 Ex-gratia

• Go to Disaster Management & Civil Defence departmental website:http://wbdmd.gov.in/Pages/Default.aspx  

• Click on : Online Application (http://covidexgratia.semtwb.in/aspx/signin.aspx) for Covid19 Death Ex-gratia payment

• It will redirect to a portal in a new tab.

• Applicant must use an authentic mobile number and it will be User ID

• OTP will be generated and be used as password

• Keep your OTP and this may be used as password for getting status of your application in future

• If you want to change password, click change password

• A form will open

• Fill up the form and upload documents as mentioned

• Submit

• Identity Proof - ( Both claimant & deceased) 

• Death certificate of deceased under birth and death registration act, 1969 (pdf/jpg) 

• Proof of Covid death 

• Document establishing the relationship between deceased and applicant

• Aadhaar Card of applicant

• Bank Account related document
