1. What is Form DIR 3A?
Form DIR 3A is a declaration Form which is to be filled along with the DIN by the person who wishes to be appointed as director of the company but does not have a last name/surname. If an applicant does not have the last name, and then his or her father's or grandfather's surname shall be mentioned in the last name along with the declaration in Form No. DIR-3A. Declaration in DIR-3A should also be submitted along with the DIN application.
2. Why is it important?
DIR 3A is mandatory as per Rule 9(4) of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014 such a case, a declaration in DIR-3A should also be submitted and required to be made as per rules along with the DIN application.
