1. What is Form VI Rule 30?
This form is related to the register of compensatory holidays as per rule 30 of the Motor Transport Workers Rule, 1963, Every employer shall display, on or before the end of the month in which holidays are lost, a notice in respect of workers allowing compensatory holidays during the same month or the immediately following two months and of the dates thereof and shall do in form VI.
2. Why is it Important?
It is the duty of every employer to maintain a Register of compensatory holidays in form VI and shall be preserved for a period of three years after the last entry is made which has to be produced before the Inspector on demand. Any compensatory holiday to which a worker is entitled shall be given to him before he/she is discharged and shall not be reckoned as part of any period of notice.
