1. What is Form INC - 20A?

Form INC - 20A is a declaration form. It should be filled by the Directors of the company for declaration of commencement of the company as per section 10A of the Companies Act, 2013. It declares that the shareholders have paid the value of their initial shares as stated in MOA. These forms need to be filed within 180 days after the company Registration. This form provides the company with approval to commence their company business and perform its operations. Companies that do not have any share Capital need not to fill this form.

2. Why is it Important?

This form helps in assuring that the Company business operation has got the approval as per the provision of section 10 A of the Company Act 2013. This declares that the company is ready for the Business. It ensures that the share capital has been paid by the shareholders of the company. It is an important form to fill, in case you missed out filling this form it can attract a penalty on the company, Directors or Removal of the Company.
