1. What is INC 25?
The name of the company is its unique identity with which it is recognised among society. every company shall have a name as it provides a separate identity to the company and the application for the reservation of the name shall be given in INC 1. However, in case, the promoters of the company want to change the name of the company after incorporation, they shall make an application to the Roc for the name change. The ROC on being satisfied that the company has complied with all the rules and regulation shall issue a fresh certificate of incorporation in form INC 25 with the new name of the company.
2. Why is it important?
This form helps provide conclusive evidence that the company has changed its name and registered with ROC. After the issuance of form INC 25, the company can officially use the new name on every official document.
