In view of the Coronavirus/ Covid-19 pandemic, performance of many contracts have become impossible. If not impossible, it has become impractical for the parties to continue their performance. In some cases parties would consent to treat the contract as cancelled. In that event, it is advisable that the parties express in writing their consent to treat the contract as having come to an end to avoid legal complications at a later stage.
