1. What is Form MGT 2?

Form MGT 2 contains the prescribed format in which companies are required to maintain their registers of debenture holders to whom debentures have been allotted by the company. The register is maintained from the date of the registration and in form MGT 2. The entries shall be made in registers within 7 days after the Board of Directors or its authorised committee approves the allotment or transfer of shares, debentures or other securities. The register shall be maintained at the registered office of the company unless a special resolution is passed to maintain the same at other places
