What is a Reseller agreement?

A Reseller agreement typically refers to an arrangement between someone supplying goods and another party selling the goods to a third party or the general public (the reseller). Under a reseller agreement, the reseller agrees to sell the products on behalf of the wholesaler. The agreements are those where a vendor contracts with a reseller to allow them to sell the vendor's product or services to a third-party.

Why do we need it?

By signing this agreement, it shall create a legal binding contract between the parties, and the re-selling of the products can be made within a mutually agreed territory with regards to the type and nature of the product subject to. It can be exclusive or non- exclusive basis for a predetermined time subject to renewable as per the mutually agreed sales target. In case of any breach, compensations and damages can be claimed before the court of jurisdiction, in case the issue is not amicably resolved.
