1. What is a Service Transportation Agreement ?
A transportation services agreement is an agreement between a goods provider and a transportation services provider. The goods provider, usually a manufacturer or wholesaler, agrees to pay the transportation provider to deliver the items to retailers and other distribution points. The transportation company guarantees that the items will arrive at the designated outlets on schedule and in good shape. To move their goods, manufacturers frequently enter into partnerships with trucking companies, shipping companies, and train lines.
2. Why is it important?
It is not enough to just transport goods from one location to another; it is also necessary to ensure that the commodities are in good condition and that any additional safety standards are met.
