1. What is Form STK 7?
This form is related to notice of striking off and dissolution by the registrar as per sub-section (5 ) of section 248(1) of the Companies Act 2013, The Registrar will cause to send notice from the registrar of the company and the same shall be published on the official website of MCA. Striking of the company helps those companies who want to voluntarily wind up their company and can file their application with ROC as per section 248.
2. Why is it Important?
It is important in cases where the company is a defunct company and does not wish to proceed their business further from them. It's an easy way through which a company can strike off its name without any hassle. If the company has any debt before striking off the company has to pay off all the debts.
