World IP Day at FICCI on 30th April 2019
Team Lawyered
Another remarkable conference organized by FICCI on 30th April 2019. The theme of the conference was ‘IP and Sports’ with the objective to deliberate on the growing significance of IP for the sports industry and the role that IP could play to further strengthen the thriving Indian Sports Industry.
The conference was addressed by senior policy makers, administrators & IP experts, who deliberated on subjects like need for a robust IP ecosystem for a nation's move towards becoming a knowledge economy; role of IP for business growth and success, forms of IPR commercialization in sports industry; and the need for fostering IPR culture in the sector and the challenges on the way forward.
Lawyered members - Advocate Ravi Sachdeva, Ankush Bedi, Abha Kashyap, Aubert Sebastian and Abhishek Singh participated in the session. It was truly an enlightening experience for all the attendees.
